On Feb 18th, Ambassador Wang Baodong visited the China-aid Agriculture Technical Cooperation Project as well as several Chinese companies in Tonga ,such as Yanjian, Ofa-ki, SH Construction Group, etc., to inspect their disaster situation.

On behalf of the Chinese Government and the Chinese Embassy, Ambassador Wang conveyed sympathy to the experts and staff members, inquired about their current living condition, inspected the damaged buildings and goods and gave instructions on executing self-help production.

Representatives of the agricultural experts team and the companies appreciated Wang’s concern and instructions, and vowed that they will do their best to resume production to ensure the implementation of the aid projects as well as the local market supply.
