His Excellency Wang Baodong, Chinese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Tonga met with Dr. Tevita Tu’i Uata，Minisiter of Commerce, Consumer, Trade, Innovation and Labor of Tonga on January 24, 2018, and congratulated the latter on his new appointment. They had exchanges of views on China-Tonga relations，economic cooperation and other issues of common interest. Ambassador Wang also introduced Chinese preparation of the first Chinese International Import Exposition and delivered the invitation letter to Minister Tu’i Uata. Both sides agreed to further strengthen the friendly exchanges and cooperation and promote the strategic partnership between the two countries.
